Terms of use and intellectual property

These terms govern use of the Boring Customs configurator, intellectual property in the service’s original materials, and purchase of related digital exports. By using the service you accept the conditions that apply to the feature you choose.
Intellectual property
The software, source code, graphical interface, content, patterns, configurations, 3D models, and other original materials in this configurator are owned by Federico Ventura SRLS, except where otherwise indicated.
Prohibited uses
You may not copy, download, extract, reproduce, modify, distribute, resell, or reuse those materials, in whole or in part, to create other configurators, products, or services without the owner’s prior written authorisation.
No transfer of rights
Access to and use of the configurator do not grant any licence or transfer any intellectual-property rights, except as expressly provided in these Terms of use.
Third-party materials
Any software, libraries, trademarks, models, or materials belonging to third parties remain excluded from this statement and are subject to their respective licences and terms. Ideas, abstract principles, and generic functionality are not claimed as exclusive property.

The digital product
Boring Customs is a self-service configurator that automatically generates a virtual graphic texture for compatible vehicles. A purchase covers only a digital PNG file for the selected configuration. It does not include physical goods, film, printing, installation, vehicle modification, consulting, or manual design services.
Free preview
The free preview is a PNG of up to 512 × 512 pixels bearing a Boring Customs watermark. It is provided so you can assess the configuration before purchase and differs from the paid export in resolution and watermarking.
Price and payment
A single watermark-free 1K digital export costs €1.99, plus applicable taxes. Taxes are determined and shown by Stripe or Link in checkout before you confirm payment. This is a one-time payment: there are no credits, bundles, renewals, or subscriptions. Payment can be completed on the current device or, where available, by opening the same design on a phone through a QR code.
Delivery and availability
After payment is confirmed, a watermark-free 1024 × 1024 pixel PNG associated with the purchased configuration is generated. The link remains available for approximately 30 minutes and allows multiple attempts to download the same file. The link expires after that period. You are responsible for saving the file to your device within the stated window.
Personal licence
Your purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence. You may use the file on your own compatible vehicle or device and publish images of the result on your social media profiles. You may not resell, distribute, sublicense, or make the file available, or use it to provide commercial services to third parties. Your rights in content you upload and the respective owners’ rights in third-party trademarks and materials remain unaffected.
Immediate delivery and withdrawal
Before the download begins, you will be asked to expressly agree to immediate delivery of the digital content and acknowledge the loss of the right of withdrawal when supply begins, to the extent permitted by law. The full policy is available on the Refunds page.
Compatibility and user responsibility
Before purchase, you must check the selected model, configuration, and compatibility of the file with the intended application or device. The preview is a virtual simulation: colours, proportions, and appearance may vary between screens, software, and any physical result. Boring Customs does not guarantee the feasibility or accuracy of a real-world vehicle wrap.
Independence from Tesla
Boring Customs is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored, endorsed, or operated by Tesla, Inc. It is not a Tesla product, and Tesla does not participate in its creation, sale, operation, or support. Vehicle names are used solely for identification and description. Tesla and related names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. The service does not access a Tesla account, communicate with a vehicle, or modify its software, firmware, warranty, or configuration.
Availability and liability
The service may be temporarily suspended for maintenance, security, or technical reasons. To the extent permitted by law, Federico Ventura SRLS is not liable for misuse of the file, loss caused by failure to save it within the stated period, or physical results produced by third parties using the preview. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law, without affecting mandatory protections granted to consumers by the law of their country of residence. Disputes are subject to the competent forum determined by applicable law.
